https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.jsI am extremely anxious for the arrival of spring. Up here is Spokane it can stay cold for up to 6 months out of the year. but when the warm weather arrives I spend a majority of my day outside. On hot summer evenings I sit on my patio watching my kids play in the cul-de-sac. Last summer the kids and I got a few bug bites from native insects. but this year we are going to be safely protected from mosquitoes and insects thanks to my ThermaCell Mosquito Repellent Lantern.
This darling little lantern is effective and warding of mosquitoes and other flying insects, and is a wonderful addition to any deck or patio.
“Our newest ThermaCell lantern is unobtrusive, decorative and effective, allowing people to enjoy the outdoors free from flying insects without applying sprays and lotions,” said Allegra Lowitt, vice president of marketing. “ThermaCell creates a 15×15 foot area of repellency that provides protection compared to other options that can be noisy and smelly such as zappers and citronella.”
The ThermaCell lantern does not make any noise or produce an odor. It runs on a single butane cartridge which heats a repellent mat releasing allethrin, a synthetic copy of a natural insecticide found in chrysanthemum flowers, into the air creating a 15×15 foot area free of bothersome insects. The repellent mat provides up to four hours of protection and each butane cartridge lasts up to 12 hours. The light is battery operated and you can use the lantern with or without the mosquito repellent.
The ThermaCell lantern makes a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. For more information check out thermacell.com.
